Went to the link you provided and learned that you can also print your own paper IF you have Windows Livescribe Desktop version 1.4 or later and have a Color LaserJet Printer that is Adobe PostScript compatible and can print at 600dpi or higher.
Think I'll stick with paying for the notebooks - they cost about the same as a regular good quality notebook.
